How To Grow
- Choose a location that receives full sun and has well-drained soil. Bermuda grass prefers warm temperatures and cannot tolerate heavy shade.
- Prepare the soil by removing any debris and levelling the surface. The soil should be loose and well-drained.
- Apply a starter fertilizer to the soil to provide the seed with the necessary nutrients for germination.
- Spread the seed evenly and rake the soil to ensure good seed-to-soil contact.
- Water the seed thoroughly and keep the soil consistently moist until germination. This can take between 7-14 days depending on the temperature and humidity.
- Water the grass regularly, especially during dry periods. Bermuda grass is drought-tolerant, but it will perform better with consistent moisture.
- Fertilize the grass every 6-8 weeks during the growing season to promote healthy growth. Using Serbajadi Lawn Master or Lawncare fertiliser for better result.
